I don't know how they did it, some of the script-changes and rearranged scenes should have ostensibly made it better, but no, it was worse. Much, much worse.

But Berubara is so bad that if I get another toujitsuken ticket -- B-seki is as much as I'd pay for one half of this show -- I might be tempted to just skip the first act. D:

I mean, I don't know. I developed a nostalgia, a fondness for the camp and melodrama that was Soragumi Andre-hen. Hanagumi version killed nearly all of it, so the disappointment was heavier for me. It would seriously be trying to suffer through it again. :(
