Er, are we positive that this means no top musumeyaku period? It could just be that the announcement hasn't been made yet. When it was formally decided that tsukigumi would have no top musumeyaku, there was an announcement made about it. This announcement is so short that I don't think it means anything other than that the company hasn't made a decision yet.
For some reason I feel like Tani was announced as top before Ume was...don't ask me why I remember this.
I know that your emotions are very conflicted as it is, but I wonder if this means that the new top musumeyaku will be transferred from another troupe.
As little as I know of Tsukigumi, this really doesn't surprise me. And although we all know they'll overwork her (as Hankyuu seems to be doing with everyone atm) I bet Kiriyan will make one hot top star. *silver lining*
Hm... I think there was more than a whole month between Mizu and Tonami being announced as Yukigumi Top Stars, so I wouldn't worry to much. Ai-chan! Ai-chan! Ai-chan!
About Scarlet Pimpernel... I think it's to early to revive the show, but on the other hand, I'd be curious to see it in another version. Just probably not yet. :)
Exactly. "Not YET" is the reason I object. They could give it to Kiriyan like, three years from now and I'd probably be more comfortable with the idea than I am now.
(As for Ai-chan, I prefer to remain pessimistic so that if they so choose, Hankyuu can give me the pleasant surprise of being proven wrong.)
I'm happy for Kiriyan as Top but I'm still curious on who will be the Musume, :\?
I think it's early for "Pimpernel" revival but it happened during the "Elisabeth" boom of 1996-1998 that it just revived for different troupes way too quickly. Only time could tell.
