Touya turns in exactly fifteen inches in tiny, dense, precise handwriting, answering the questions in a level of detail that demonstrates that yes, he did in fact spend six years getting excellent grades in Professor Crane's potions class.

For question three, he chooses to write about Polyjuice potion.

He was so zealous to start the assignment that he forgot to leave room at the top of the parchment for his name, and had to write it on the back, so that it was on the outside when he rolled up the scroll. There's also less than half an inch on the margins.

[ Haru chooses the first and second questions, answering them correctly but only going into enough detail to get the essay up to eight and a half inches. He clearly knows his stuff, but doesn't see the need to elaborate on it in words. ]

[ Fletcher gives a very basic answer that looks as though it was paraphrased from his textbook, six inches long. ]

[ Rose chooses the second and third questions, showing off her extensive "research" into muggle medicines (most likely gleaned by marathoning several muggle medical dramas over the summer holidays thanks to her muggle-born friends). There are a few factual inaccuracies due to over-dramatization, but she makes valid points and answers the question more than competently.

The potion she chooses to write about is a dark one and was only briefly mentioned in class (possibly by her in an awkwardly phrased question), but it's clear she's done a lot of external research: the detail she goes into might hint just slightly that she's either been sneaking into the restricted section at night or somehow knows a little too much about the slightly more obscure properties of deadly nightshade when properly brewed.

Her writing style is long-winded and uses unnecessarily verbose language, and she goes over the limit by about an inch, but it is well-structured and despite a few flourishes of the quill, easy enough to read. ]

Shang picked questions one and two, and finishes in a nice middle ground of ten inches. They're pretty well-written, but her knowledge of muggle medicine is kind of thin, so there's some improvising and BS thrown in.

Cassie answers the first two questions. The first question is answered in the form of a precise list, and measure about 11 inches in length, but it offers little in detail.

However, her second answer is vastly detailed, (showing she is clearly well informed on the subject) but she seems to focus a bit more on the illegal sort medicines, and how, if used in certain ways, they can be sort of similar to potions. But she does answer the question, and it is about 12 inches in length.

The assignment is handed in on time.
