Sherlock fandom is awesomely friendly, and there is no reason to lurk, you should join in with your theories as to why, obviously, the only superpower that John would ever have or need, would be the ability to turn anything he touched into a wooly jumper. Or something.

That said, I know how weird it is breaking into a new fandom, and it's not as if I'm 100% sociable in it. I just read all the fic, really.

WHERE DOES ONE GO TO BEGIN BEING IN SHERLOCK FANDOM? I have been all up in the kinmeme these last few weeks but obv that is rather anonymous so it probably doesn't count as Being In The Fandom. Though oh man John having the wooly jumper power would be the best power. AND ALL THE WOOLY JUMPERS ARE FULL OF GUNS.

I am trying to force myself back into the habit of actually commenting on all the fic I read. It's a start.

Do you know, I'm not sure. *thinks* The people that I mainly talk to are people I met through meet-ups, or because they've offered to eta my fic, or we've had 'Oh, hey, I remember you from SPN' moments. To be honest, I kinda suck at the socialising bit of fandom, so I'm probably a completely useless person to ask. I just read all the fic posted to sherlockbbc and a couple of other places, fail to comment, and then chat on twitter with a few fangirls I met on meet-ups ( ... )

This is late, and totally random, and from someone you don't know but whatevs. Is it just me was the barmaid basically a female Dean? Y/Y? I mean, it was like Dean's imaginary shrink in Sam, Interrupted was cast to look pretty much like the female version of himself...

That, or the CW only has two types of actress: Blonde, or Brunette. That actually might be true IDEK.
