In this week's RadioTimes there is an interview with Matt Smith (aka The New Doctor) in which he explains that his preparation for becoming Eleven involved writing fanfic about his Doctor hanging out with Einstein. Sadly, he didn't actually call it fanfic, but I am more than willing to let that slide for a guy who writes about his character HAVING

Is it the traditional way to serve onion soup or is it just the way my mum rolls?

YOUR MOM IS CUNNING AND AWESOME. Traditionally it has some toasted slices of french bread floating on top, and then grated cheese is dumped atop the toast, and then the whole lot is stuck under the grill until the cheese goes all melted and bubbly and OMG SO NOMMY AND NOW I AM HUNGRY DAMN YOU DAMN YOUR EYES

OHHH I SEE. tbh I think it probably worked better with the nommy bread my mum used. It was a lot softer than french bread and thus it was probably more absorbent. BRB HAVING SQUIDGY SOUPY BREAD FLASHBACKS.

There is no soup left :(

I DID NOTICE HIS EYEBROWS! There's still not an awful lot of eyebrow hair there, but a little goes a long way. Maybe TPTB saw all the 'lol he has no eyebrows' comments and decided to apply some eyebrow pencil.
