I AM SO GRUMPY. I didn't get to do my Writing Short Stories presentation after all, as we ran out of time (although this means I have an extra week to actually work out what I am going to say), my lecture was TIRING and made us all worry about our Cultural Theory essays and then, my friends, and THEN the scales were tipped from 'okay day' to 'bad ( Read more... )

arrgh, good hair day, i need to stop making new tags, holy fucking shit oh my god, rl: family, hormonal hormones, things i wish i'd owned at asylum

OMG I feel as though the bus thing is entirely my fault due to your praising of their timeliness and sensibility just the other day.

OBVSLY YOU NEED A PONY AND A LITTLE RED WAGON TO GET YOU PLACES. God that would be awesome.

TO BE FAIR, I really should have checked I had the right change at some point in the 2.15-2.40 wait. THAT WAS A ROOKIE MISTAKE.

I would love to have a pony and a little red wagon. Could Jensen Ackles please be the... driver or whatever the correct word is for pony/wagon situations?

It would have to be a tiny elven Jensen Ackles, perhaps even in curly-toed elf shoes, seated atop the pony. Or the little red wagon would have to be significantly less little than I was imagining.

THAT'S NOT A WAGON. THAT'S A PLANK WITH WHEELS.

I could definitely live with tiny elven Jensen Ackles though. I mean, it's not too great a reach from his current self, let's face it.

I missed my train home yesterday and had to pay for it all over again but for DOUBLE THE PRICE so effectively it cost me £70 to get home plus I had to wait for like an hour and a half in Reading station.

SUCK ON THAT.

(although weirdly I didn't even care lulz I just saw it as a ~life experience and ate a pasty and tried not to think about all the money. I AM A WORRYINGLY BALANCED PERSON AT TIMES)

THEY MADE YOU PAY FOR IT AGAIN? wtf. Whenever I've missed trains home, they've just waved me through with my existing ticket. (Then again, whenever I'm missed trains it's been because of other trains' faults. Did you miss yours due to your own incompetence?)

I find it weirdly amusing that you ate a pasty in Reading. NO HATTIE THAT IS WHAT CORNWALL IS FOR.

I missed the train because the bus to take me to the station never turned up and the taxi service was just as bad THEREFORE NOT REALLY MY FAULT.

But there was one of those West Cornwall Pasty shops I COULDN'T RESIST and it got me in the ~Cornwall mood ha.

Buses always suck. I say this as someone who used to quite regularly guilt one of her tutors into giving her a lift by being a lone female standing forlornly at a bus station.

But yay beard! <3

Ahhh damn you. Unfortunately my campus bus stop gets enough traffic that you're never standing alone. Also I think most of my tutors commute by train. FOILED.

It's amazing. It's David Beckham's. *_*

Waiting for buses is GROSS GROSS GROSS. I'm glad you had the beard to uplift you when you got home. ♥ (That sounds like a really bad band. Uplifting Beards.)
