Any chance you could get a job to save up specifically to go to Chicago? Or are things pretty scarce down in Fal? There's loads of jobs here...

I'm not sure if I would be able to manage a job responsibly on top of uni work, tbh. I might have a look for something on campus w/ short hours.

I do feel that. I was considering doing part time work in my first year but er, I already don't have time :( but if you got a job on campus they would be sympathetic to your studenty ways!
