I only like pop music because I don't have to think when I listen to it, lol...but that's probably not something I should be admitting. Also pop music usually has a catchy beat, and I figure if it's going to get stuck in my head I might as well enjoy it! Contemporary country, on the other hand, totally deserves its shitty rep. But it's possible that I have not been *~exposed~* to the good stuff. Give me a good band of any genre and if it's really good I'll listen to it. I'm a music slut :D

Weeell, I like Beyonce and Christina Aguilera and old school Britney Spears, so it's not like I'm 'AUGH NO NOT POP MUSIC, HOW DARE YOU.' There's just that particular Lady Gaga-ish type that's currently popular and which makes me go nooooooo. And as far as contemporary country is concerned, idk if I'd call it GOOD so much as catchy and enjoyable, buuuut Rascal Flatts and Lonestar spring to mind.

AUGH YES. That alone would make me want to stab her, even without the I Hate Your Music element.
