I love the atmosphere of this story. It is smooth and gentle, with a healthy dash of humor and a faint misting of melancholy. Another sacrifice, and not a small one, but it saves the world and brings the boys around full circle and back to each other again. And then closer. Elegantly spare writing and I loved how you made Sam so Sam even without his voice. The Mr. T keychain was inspired.
Oh, you're listening to Elbow. I just recently stumbled onto them and I love their music. Their arrangements and lyrics are sophisticated and no two of their songs sound alike. I especially like "Mirrorball" and "Perfect Weather to Fly."
Oh, darling, this is just beautiful. I mean, even though Sam is irrevocably damaged, they're still so happy together. They're still hunting but this feels like the kind of retirement I wish they could have, because the bad times are in the past and they're together. Oh *happy face*
