unpleasant wake up experience

My fire alarm went off at half seven this morning D:

Conclusion: I will almost certainly burn to death one day, seeing as I just lay back down and stuck my fingers in my ears until it stopped.

That happened to me one time. I did the exact same thing.

In my defence, my alarm LIKES CRYING WOLF. It goes off briefly something like once a week - I think to test that it's working okay, but all it has done is train me to wait until it turns off.

In student flats this used to happen to me. All the time. Oh 6.30am, in Edinburgh, in January, you are never fun. My pyjamas are not designed to keep out the arctic!

Don't, you know, burn in your bed or anything though, 'k?

D: 6.30. I have never had one at 6.30, thank god. Back in December there was an actual, official fire drill at about 8am, which was pretty damn cold.

I'm on the ground floor. If it transpires that there really is a fire, I can climb out the window :D
