Holy shit Catch Me If You Can is the most homoerotically charged film I've seen since Brokeback Mountain. GODDAMN. Absolutely do not tell me if there's a J2 AU of it already out there, 'cause dammit I am going to write one myself.(And I am only slightly kidding when I say that. omfg Jensen the super-neurotic FBI agent with awful glasses, Jared the ( Read more... )

j2 aus are a disease, the idiot box, homoerotic subtext, things that people should write me, together they fight crime

This wasn't just seeing J2. This was being punched in the face by their cocks.

Huh. You know I think I must have watched that film before I was a slasher, because I don't remember the gay, and from what you're saying it contained levels of gay I wouldn't be likely to forget. *adds it to her mental 'films to rewatch' list*

I think I read a Sam/Dean Catch Me If You Can AU once (which must have been only loosely based on the film, given the whole 'brothers' thing *tries to remember*), but I've never come across a J2 version. I would be all over that if you wrote it. *g*

D: omg there was a time before you were a slasher? That's so sad. You absolutely must rewatch it, man. ASTONISHING LEVELS OF GAY. ASTONISHING.

Oh god, I really do want to write it. It's on the to-do list :|

I discovered fandom when I was 14. And I still find it really weird that everything that happened before that happened before I was a slasher. WEEEIRD. I feel like I've been fannish forever. In fact, maybe six months or so after I first got into fandom I was all "Huh, I wonder how long I've been into fandom. A couple of years or so?" and went to try and find out exactly when I'd first started reading fic. I WAS SHOCKED.

I know exactly how you feel! I was discussing The Fast and the Furious yesterday and someone mentioned that they'd watched it before they were a slasher, which just seemed like a TRAGIC waste of perfectly good gay, to me. And now I have gone and done the same thing to you! I really will have to rewatch CMIYC. Although, knowing me, I will procrastinate about it for a year, first. xP

(I saw this in another comment- "there was a time before you were a slasher? That's so sad.")

FUNNY STORY: When I was about 15 I was in my friends basement looking up Harry Potter pictures on the interwebs. I went to type in "Sirius and Remus" into Google and my friend said "WAIT! Don't write it like that. You're just going to get pictures of them together." And I was like "...what?" And then when I went home I secretly searched for myself and went :3 And thus, a slasher was born. I had NO IDEA before then. So young, so innocent.

ANYWAY. I have only ever seen part of that movie, but I'll have to watch it. Homosexual subtext is my favourite type of subtext. (Wait, actually I think incest is- but it's close.)

You should write that! But until then, I'm the best friend ever-
