Genevieve, fuck yeah.
So several moons ago I let out a Genevieve Cortese rallying cry and then promptly did nothing about it. UNTIL NOW. (And now I have a completely awful campaign slogan which made me cackle irl when I thought of it. No regrets.)
Not gonna lie, I’m not the kind of person who writes to actors/actresses/celebrities, so I’m not quite sure how to go about organising this kind of thing, BUT I’M GONNA TRY.
Genevieve has fans! There aren’t many of us and we’re pretty quiet, but by God we exist, and I think it’s about time we let her know we exist. Girl deserves a bit of love.

There isn’t some kind of deadline for this, but I really encourage people to do it as soon as possible. A) I expect/hope she’s going to be in the final few episodes of the season, and it could be really awesome if she got a load of fan mail at around the same time they’re airing. B) The sooner you do it, the less chance there is of forgetting! :D
I’m sure this goes without saying, but be polite and respectful. I’d strongly recommend against saying things like ‘I think you’re awesome EVEN THOUGH LOADS AND LOADS OF PEOPLE HATE YOU.’ Also, oh god don’t bring up her possible relationship with Jared. You’re all sane and sensible people (duh, you like Genevieve!) who know how to do these things in a sane and sensible manner, but I’m covering my bases.
Like I said, I’m not really practised in the fan mail arts, but here is a how-to guide with a few good tips, and there are many, many more out there on the net if you get stuck. Off the top of my head: which s4 Ruby episode is your favourite? What’s so awesome about her Ruby? Has she inspired you to watch Wildfire too? ETC. ETC.
Please pimp this out to any fellow Genlovers on your flist! Pimp it out to Genloving communities too, if you know any! The more people we can get, the more awesome it shall be for Genevieve :D
Re pimping: I’d say stick to pro-Gen/Ruby comms, or ones that you know are friendly towards her. No dean_sam or supernatural_tv etc. MAYBE I’M JUST BEING OVERLY CAUTIOUS, but I don’t entirely trust the masses to keep from making negative comments and I really want this to be something positive and yay rather than wanky :/
