Auuugh it bothers and annoys me. I like Dean! He is an awesome guy! But he is so far from righteous, except in the Bill and Ted sense of the word, and just. How on earth was he the first awesome person to ever shed blood in Hell? I think I may fanwank it that it only became possible to break the seals like, a couple of years ago. That is why YED suddenly became active again in s1 after 22 years of lying low. YES THERE WE GO.

Hopefully something like that is going to turn out, or TPTB will spend too much time on the internet like they always do and realise how illogical this whole thing is and RETCON IT IN AND PRETEND THAT'S WHAT THEY MEANT ALL ALONG. Also, it would explain why Sam suddenly turned psychic at the same time as YED's reappearance. The oven-timer on the seals started beeping and the demon blood ACTIVATED.

And what I think/hope now is that Azazel’s blood is what turned Sam into a seal.

I'm sorry, man. All I can think when I read that is Sam's face superimposed over Andre the seal. Which would be perfect if they could get Tina Majorino circa 1994 to play Lilith.

Yeah, I've been thinking on it and I'm pretty convinced that the last seal is going to be something that only Sam can break and that Dean will be the only one who can stop him.... which sort of makes me think that maybe Sam will go completely off the reservation but in the end Dean will be able to reach the human part of him and get him to stop or something. Either that or he'll have to kill him... guh. Or sacrifice himself in his place a la Buffy.
