HAH I just found a woodlouse in my bathroom, and instead of flailing in terror as is my typical response to creatures with more than four legs, I caught it with a cup and a piece of paper and chucked it out my window. (I am on the ground floor, so this wasn't as cruel as it sounds

I still don’t understand why we have to have different names for the same things. Probably 50% of the time you mention some random animal I have to wikipedia it. ANYWAY, good job. Don’t worry you’re not evil, it’s shell protected it.

THE MAGIC OF LINGUISTICS, BB. Here's a super confusing piece of trivia for you: in Britain 'Asian' refers to South rather than Eastern Asia- so Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi etc. Oh my god I used to get so confused.

I did feel quite bad about chucking it, all the same D: but my window just doesn't open far enough for me to lovingly pour it out without accidentally pouring it back inside.

Maybe it's good news. Maybe it isn't. WHO KNOWS. (I know.)
