xD I have faith in my nan's village. It has eerily season-appropriate weather.

(ofc, now it's going to be completely snow-free, just to spite me.)

Hell yeah. Except I've lost my camera. BUT I will happily tear the house apart looking for it, if photos of snowmen may be involved.

(I'll bet. And then there'll be one of those freak 'snowstorm in July!' type things whilst I'm off in America.)

just put Texas in Southern America. It is Southwestern. Kansas is a Plains state.

No other states, cept maybe Missouri, will associate with a Plains state unless under duress.

Just saying.

And yeah, TX is pretty darn huge.

But it's still in the South of America! Like, I live in Southwest England, but it's still undeniably in the direction that is South. So neer :P

I'm intrigued by the Plains state hatin', though.

(Mostly, I just used Texas as the example because it's the only Southern(/Southwestern) state I'm 100% sure isn't actually next to Seattle.)

OK, fine, use geography against me. Yup, it is in the South. But it is more Western, see, than states like Mississippi, Alabama and even Louisiana. So it is more like Nevada and New Mexico.

Then again, TX was in the Confederacy, on the side of the South...so...

Plains states...they are...well...boring. Wide open, cold, windy....plus the University of Nebraska is there.

America. We're messed up.

:)

And I realize that I would have NO IDEA of your English geographical prejudices...

Once again, the day is saved by geography! Victory! \o/

Ahahaha, I love fucked up geographical prejudices. I'm pretty sure Britain has a bajillion of them, but all I really know is that Southerners are soft pansies and Northerners are working-class ingrates and everything else comes down to football teams.

PS. University of Nebraska = bad?
