After the nice workout in her workshop, Claire took a shower and then flopped down on her bed with a book.

It was too quiet with Dinah gone. She hoped that everything was okay and that her roommate would be back soon.

Jon had been rather scarce since before they got back from cabins, and hadn't spent near enough time with his girlfriend. So he had decided to take a day away from his handwavey unknown project and go bother Claire.

It was a very good decision, and he figured it would be best to bring cake along with as an apology.

"Knock knock."

He smirked and reached out to steal a bit of frosting. "Good cake is haed to resist."

She thwapped his hand half-heartedly. "Time with my boyfriend is never bad. Especially when there's cake."
