I admit to leaving Dahlia in a parked car on a hot day if I had to run into a store for a second (usually to pee!) but only if I locked the car while it was running with the AC on. I think I've heard people think that's bad too, but it's for 2 minutes while I run in and the car keeps nice and cool. I even crank it just to make sure it's really keeping her cool.

Making emergency stop for two minutes might not be bad. Don't forget to notify clerk or someone... I've heard people call cops on dog owners for leaving them in car. Keep it in the safe side. I'm glad that you think about your baby and keep AC on... but remeber the longer car sits and runs AC it wont be cool no more. Thanks for taking care of your four legged baby :)
