Where is this amazing fruit market? Because holy crap, I need to buy that much produce for $11. I paid nearly $5 just for apples at HEB.

And they have new special's pages every Wednesday, which they link to their twitter and facebook accounts. I truly deeply love this place. Sometimes the specials are better than others (like today is a golden star sort of day) and it's always more seasonal than always having the same static supply. But I really love this place and I've known the manager/owner for over five years now.

And I will probably never not get my produce here.

Shopping seasonally is always best. Not doing so usually insures paying top dollar for fruit shaped cardboard. That's no bueno. But you already knew that! =)

The Sam's off of 410 between Callaghan and Evers has been running decent prices on berries lately. I picked up a 12 ounce package of raspberries for 2.98 and a 12 ounce package of blackberries for the same price.

That's not too bad at all. The Fruit market had 2 for $5 Raspberries. And back when i went to spring fest they had $1 blackberry and strawberry package sales, too!

I love that fruit is getting a little better around here!
