(no subject)
Sometimes it's the words people say that stay in my head to linger.
Somehow at Runes this weekend we were discussing people that had once made us nervous in RCG, and in talking about my hesitation with one of my sisters, in both groups, who was at that table, early on last spring (which had absolutely nothing to do with her, and everything to do with me when I came home, unprepared for...well, unprepared in general).
Which led to the topic of how everyone new in Grove was enamored with the idea of meeting me after hearing My Girl talk about me while I was away across the sea. And one of the comments in that conversation said toward me, turns slowly over and over in my head. And I'm thinking about it this morning. The way the woman in question smiled, as she said,
"She was right, too. She said you were all sunshine and light, without the knees and elbows."
