Adventures in Being an Adult
I made a decision about a hard topic today, and held my ground about it.
I'm not always so good at being an adult, where it comes to taking care of my personal wellbeing, when the issue is in contrast with making someone else's life easier by just ignoring myself, especially if I care for that person greatly. It was hard to say, and even harder to defend.
Bur I feel a little lighter now because of it.
Regretless and proud and scared and less at risk.
