Ren Faire with Earl's Family 2010
I should have done this forever ago. Mostly I remember things in a haze. We went for the whole weekend, drove up Friday night, hoteled it Friday and Saturday night, and drove home Sunday. We spent all day Saturday at the faire. With his family, and the evening with evegryffindor, who plays Lucrezia Borgia in the Italian Court.
As a congratulations on dog sitting and managing two weeks outside your house, and life etc, gift to myself. I bought a bodice finally, with my pay check from that, since I hadn't even expected to be paid at all really. It's complicated, having to do with my parents and my monthly bills already. But I got it. And loved it. And it was laced so I couldn't even pull air in to sneeze. And I spent pretty much nothing else that weekend.
But it was so much fun. And I watched an obscene about of Say Yes to the Dress on each night with his family, too, which was a little hilarious. I still love getting to spend time with them.
