TAURUS: In an exhibition at New York's Museum of Modern Art, performance artist Marina Abramovic stared into the eyes of a succession of different strangers for 700 hours. Actresses Marisa Tomei and Isabella Rossellini were among those who received her visual probes, as well as 1,400 less famous folks. I think it would be fun for you to do a variation on her ritual, Taurus. In your case, you wouldn't do it to show off or to prove an artistic point, but rather to get closer to the allies with whom you'd like to develop a deeper bond. Are you up for some deep eye gazing? Halloween costume suggestion: a mystic seer; a god or goddess with a third eye; a superhero whose power is X-ray vision.
You know,
Uncle Rob, this reminds me quite a bit about the exercise I lead while helping to run the
Heart Chakra class. About the people I did it with, and the ones I missed out on doing it with at the time. It's definitely something to keep in mind as we come to the thinning of the veil.

Remember how I hadn't been that worried about the whole sans job thing?
How it worked out perfectly to give me my extra day at Sacred Well?
After three phone calls to me today, I'm going to start working at Kraft again on Thursday morning for Customer Service. Same pay, same days, same hours. Except my temporary duration is, apparently, lasting until July or August of next year. Huh. Life. I'm about as unphazed about employment as I was about unemployment.
At least it's a job. And it'll start me saving for important things next year.
Christmas present. Trips. Bills. Rent. Oh. The calm unruffledness of this.
