I don't like gender-sexuality terms or definitions, and the boxes and scales they make people conform to, so I'm here to say this. I've been in love with men. I've been in love with women. I've dated and loved more than one person at a time, both as polyamorous and in wholly different and same ways. I've chosen not to date and not to have and to not be involved when I simply don't feel it.
I choose to live my life loving people's mind and their heart's, and when I get to their pants, if I ever get to their pants, whatever that is can be dealt with then. Body parts as defining are low on the scale of importance to my mind and my heart.
I've respected and loved women who loved men and women who loved women. I've respected and loved men who loved men and men who loved women. I've respected and love people who were not interested at all or were interested in multiple partner or family lives. I've loved and respected people who changed their clothing, their life styles, their families, and their body's on their way to their bliss. I've been just as touched and moved and inspired by all of these people.
On this day and every day, I celebrate you, each one of you, for the path you are on and the love that your heart draws up for anyone and everyone you love, in every single small and big way you choose to express it. I want you to know that I support your happiness, no matter what its color or shade or texture is. The way of love has a million, million paths, and I am glad to know and love and support and keep company with each of you in each of your entirely different places on it.
