As we are the halfway mark of July and my time with Purple, here is my Purple Altar Take One.
Thank you, Lord Orange, for reminding me
I am back in the world where I can.
Many things were drug out for the creation of this one. The first piece, at the far left back, is a silken, hand-stitched, belt that I was given when I was a small child, that is one my very earliest spiritual keepings. Laying on top of it, in highly coincidental deep purple cording, are my Hecate keys, for wisdom and knowledge. From sort of the furthest spot/corner back forward, is my purple Witches Bottle for protection.
My purple candle, surrounded first by my thin, long rough cut, amethyst necklace, and then a purple necklace made by one of my sisters in RCG. Flanking the candle on the left side is an amethyst wand and on the right an orb. Across the middle on bottom are four purple or purple related cards from my Color Intuition box set. And my brand new pink-purple eraser.
Across the rounded front are two Glamourkin bottle caps on opposite ends (reading "Home" and "Whimsy"), between each and the enter are two pieces of lepidolite and a small purple goddess charm, and then a singular panel glamourkin reading "Wandering Through Shadows her Heart Sparkled" with a woman covered by a purple cloak.
On the wall above, my new stitch purple shrine piece and another necklace made by the woman from RCG, which incorporates Pink and Purple beads, as well. It seems very fitting given the chapter and the pairing, that pink has made herself present all through my lovely statements of Purple. I'm awful happy with the way this looks already and still beaming about the touches added to it throughout today's surprises and errands.
