If I traded it all, If I gave it all for one thing

TAURUS: Two-thirds of people surveyed said they would rather look good than feel good. I hope you're not one of them. The ironic fact of the matter is that if you put the emphasis on looking good in the coming week -- creating favorable impressions, acting dishonest in order to curry favor, wearing uncomfortable but attractive clothes -- you will end up feeling sub-par and looking mediocre. On the other hand, if you put the priority on feeling good -- treating your body like a beloved pet, seeking out encounters that nurture your secret self, and hanging out in environments that encourage you to relax -- you will look good and feel good.
I'm definitely in the feel good over look good category. Which is probably wise, since all the clothing I own is either shipping itself transpacific or in storage still, Uncle Rob. Even if I did buy white strappy sandal-heels made in Italy my first night back. This is what happens when you tell your gay man quote: I need flip-flops.

They are surprisingly comfortable and nice and I love them. And him.

I have accomplished laptop internet with the wonder of my mother.

Car shopping and move-in has already commenced, as has the wrangling attempts of arranging my budget to reflect all things Adult Life. I should know what I'm doing phone and car wise tomorrow. I will be fully moved into my new apartment as of Friday, when the big task no longer becomes waiting for stuff, but finding a place to put it all and figuring out what great swath I'm stripping away.

I think it's time for a little more of my new book and then some more sleep.
