[original: "exit, pursued by bear"]

Something MADE OF AWESOME has recently happened to me. But since I have no time, I'll leave you with that cryptic statement, a rain check for a telling at a later date, and a copy of the article I wrote for the latest issue of the school paper.

EXIT, PURSUED BY BEAR: on Shakespeare, melissophobia, and (obliquely) existentialism )

fiction, not!school, original

(And I am very curious now; I want to know what's going on! GTalk?)

(Argh, I haven't made it onto GTalk in ages and the future isn't looking good. How is it possible that I am (literally) 400x busier this year than last?! GO AWAY LIFE. I JUST WANT TO TALK TO AVE FOR A WHILE!)

And about your major French oral, i would so do Robespierre, just because he was so insane!

Hee, thank you so much. :DD

I eventually chose The Outsider by Camus, but Robespierre was so insanely amazing, wasn't he? I have to admit, when we studied The Terror I might have had a slight historical crush on him ... *coughs*

Colleen have you read 'The Terror' by David Andress??? SOOO good. Some people think his writing is difficult but I say theyre the illiterate ones.
May help you too Rita if you choose Robespierre, since you know, thats the RIGHT choice. :P ;)

The parenthetical interruptions are my favorite part.

Unsolicited Tip:
Stylistically, it's incorrect to interpose spaces between dashes. Yes, it looks uglier, but dashes generally do, so either delete them or the spaces between.

Thank you. :) Tips might be unsolicited, but they are never unwelcome! I was aware that the proper way is to take out the spaces, but the aesthete in me is beating down the punctuation Nazi ...

RITA. I love this. It's witty and conversational and hilarious and very Rita (which I particularly admire because my papers are never in the least bit Banui; likely why I loathe writing them so much).

Also: *prods* Have you ever been referred to as "devious"? Because it suits. *scowly face*

Well, my papers aren't ever the least bit Rita, either -- they're pretentious, ugly things. This was just for the paper, so I shut out my essay-writing skills for a while and had fun. :) (Speaking of which. I have an essay due next week which I should probably start. ARGH SCHOOL.)
