Alas, it's a bit more convoluted than that. I got the patch and the invitation and all, and installed the thing...then found myself alone in the New Mexican desert? Where am I supposed to find other peoples?

Oh, and how come when I tried to play it every time after the first try, it would load up then...die?

You have to play past the New Mexico desert to meet other people, the desert is sort of a tutorial.

As for your crashing, no idea. : /
