I was home at seven fifty last night in plenty of time to watch SYTYCD- love love love- and, in theory, to catch a glimpse (at least) of the new roomie. Well, she didn't come by in the two hours the show was on, which, no big, I stay at my dad's some nights, but I'm still waiting to meet her. In the meantime, my old roommate came by to pick up

I keep waiting for "the day" to come with Nathan, now. Although he will probably be like you and it will be later than sooner. I dread it, though. Dread, dread, dread.

Oh, I can see Nathan not knowing for a long time. I got into an argument with a girl in second grade over it. When she said, rolling her eyes the entire time, that her parents had told her that Santa wasn't real I told her that me and my brother and my toddler sister had all gotten bikes (or big wheels) that year for Christmas, and my parents couldn't afford to buy those for all of us.
Which, we weren't *well off* by any means, but we weren't poor, either, and my parents afforded it just fine. But in my righteous eight year old mind, Santa had brought those bikes because my parents wouldn't have been able to manage otherwise.

I parked in a garage in a house for the first time in my life last night.
For a minute I thought that was kind of surprising, then I realized that I've never parked in a garage before. So I guess I shouldn't have thought it was that surprising. ;)
Hope the roommate thing works out, by the way. Sort of weird that S didn't mention a cat long ago.

Well, I guess it's a little bit of a lie since one night I pulled in there to keep from getting any hail damage. But last night was the first chance I'd had to pull in there at my leisure, now that I've inherited the garage door opener.
I hope so. I'm kind of nervous now! I've been spending time with my sister tonight (the brat mentioned yesterday) so I haven't been home yet. I don't know how tomorrow will go, or if she'll be there tonight. *fingers crossed for good things*
