I've figured it out!!! RAW CARROTS GIVE ME THE HICCUPS! I'm serious!

What's even stranger is the fact that apparently, I am not alone in this. It's so strange -- I wonder if we develop slight allergies or sensitivities to these things and that's why it bothers some of us and not others. Of course ... I think the carrot thing only happens to me when I'm eating carrots by themselves. I've never noticed it when I eat them with other things.
I'm glad yours aren't severe. Mine were so bad today that I started feeling ill. I'm not sure I'll be taking carrots as a snack anymore. I'd hate to have to give up bread! Sad!
Hooray for small miracles. :)

LOL
I get hiccups when I eat things too fast. which means I've gotten them from french fries (*hangs head in shame*), sandwiches, even chicken, and other things I can't remember right now. I can literally feel them coming on, but of course it's too late at that point. Then I have them and they hurt. blech.
There's a reason my mom said not to inhale my food!

I am pleased to know you found the group helpful. It is my hope that you will use the serenity prayer for your advancement in your healing process. Other causes Sundrip.com has taken upon itself to spread the word about are: green pea flatulence and temporary blindness caused by eating radishes. If you know anyone who suffers from these afflictions please send them to the group that you linked to in your entry.
As I said before, I myself do not suffer from these affliction but hey, I can still set up a place for y'all to meet and greet and perhaps even laugh.
Thanks for dropping by,
