Nope. Not a metaphor. I really am going to teach at the end of the world for a year. :) I'll post about it soon, I promise!

I know how that feels and it really does suck. I fell in love with the kids at my old elementary school too. You should have seen how weepy I was on that last day! But truly, you have a lot to look forward to. You will have amazing experiences in Mongolia, and they will teach you a lot about life and culture and God. And someday you will get to be a teacher, and see whole groups of students learn and grow into great people, and you'll be able to say you were a big part of that.

They say it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all...I think that goes for jobs too.
