It's finished!

So, I fixed the line art for my angel piece. I actually just re-traced the whole thing after making the corrections.

I started adding colors, but it's all flat color so far and looks really odd, so I just uploaded the line art to my server to share. (I had to get a new webs account... my Free Sketch Days at shadows_gallery took up almost all of my space ( Read more... )

I also started the linework for a new digital painting today.

I'm not sure what to call this one yet. I'm not quite satisfied with the linework yet. I was trying to make the angel's hair somewhat mane-like, but I think I made it too big. And the woman's hand doesn't look quite right to me. But both of those issues are easily remedied.

Thanks to everyone for all your lovely comments on the Doctor/Rose drawing! They went a long way to making me feel less emotionally bleh due to this cold. I'm thinking of colorizing it and letting people use it as wallpaper, banners, etc. Also will make some icons. :)

Sooo, the weekend.

I've managed to succumb to the cold, I'm afraid. It's not yet full blown, and I hope to kick it with my get-better regimen, but I'm feeling rather blah at the moment. Also, my left eye is very irritated-- hopefully not infected.
