exactly what I thought and did not go. I went to see some amaizng Russian filn during internation festival at Lincoln Center and really enjoyed it. The name- forgot the name, it was beautiful and only $12 :)
Yes, the ticket price was awfully high, and most of the shows were running during the daytime.. На "Дом Солнца" я пошёл на 5ти часовой сеанс - могу себе позволить, т.к. заканчиваю работу в 3:30, ноя то исключение.. Интересно, на кого они расчитывали, на стариков - за такие деньги они в кино не попрутся.. Тhere were tons of empty seats during screenings, from what I've heard.
