I really liked reading all the descriptions and lyrics! This was an interesting way to approach the fanmix. Really nice!

Thanks, I actually wanted to find more songs that I thought would fit their contented and relaxed time at The Academy and Flight School, but my poor brain was stuck on their childhood problems. Hope you like it. :)

Thank you very much. :) I hope you like the songs - even though they're a tad depressing heh!

Alas, that is the nature of their journey, no? Angst comes with the territory and most of my pilot songs are emotional ones.

Thanks for the mix!

Smoke is just the perfect song for Kara

"Where are you dad
Mum's looking sad
What's up with that
It's dark in here"

Those lyrics just nail Kara's childhood existence in my mind.

I found a bunch of my old CD's a couple weeks ago and came across the Natalie Imbruglia and after re-listening to it for the first time in years that song just really stood out to me. You're right it does fit perfectly with Kara's history and also when looking back at "A Day in the Life" it really makes me think about Lee & Zak too who lived with their mother who would get out of control.

Downloading :) I have yet to listen to the whole thing properly --there are quite a few songs I have never heard before, so I am looking forward to! Anyways, I really like all the commentary you've included, this is a very original approach.

(oh, and I don't mind the angst fest at all, we K/L shippers are a bunch of angst whores, I guess ;)).

Thanks chica! I really *am* an angst whore LOL! And also a music fiend, so I'm always happy to introduce and find new songs and music. :D
