Ooh, I'm glad that you liked it! And yes, the perfect betrayal indeed! It's an idea that I'm quite hooked on to be honest. I refuse to believe that if Katherine is telling the truth about "always loving Stefan" that she didn't seek him out at some point during the past 145 years...

Hmmm, if you don't want to be spoiled then I probably wouldn't. There is one particular aspect that I talk about in this that is integral to the season finale...

The fic itself isn't ever likely to happen in canon, but some of the preceding events that I mention are real.
