I have a friend over there, so in her and her families name, I'd like to join in too.

Fandom: The ones I write in The Devil Wears Prada (movie), Rizzoli & Isles, The Facts of Life and Voyager. The ones I could write in Xena, Charlie's Angels, Harry Potter, Poltergeist:The Legacy, Whip it and original. (Yes, I know these are older ones but then so am I. LOL) I can probably manage a crossover of most of these as well.

Pairings: Andy/Miranda, Emily/Serena, Jane/Maura, BASS!!, Jo/Blair, Janeway/Seven, Xena/Gabby, Serena/Kelly, Hermione/Minerva, Rachel/Alex. Those are my OTPs, but I might could swing others.

Requirements: 100 words for each US1.

Unfortunately, your bid was recieved 46 minutes after the auction closed. i don't think it would be fair to the actual highest bidder at the close of the auction to award it to you instead though you might want to speak to the author... she may be prepared to cut a deal with you? Though I have no idea if that is the case, it might be worth a shot...

According to This world world time clock(which is the website/widget discussed in your questions section) 11:45pm in Brisbane, Queensland would be 7:45am in Texas, which is when I submitted my bid. Even now, I have set my account to display that time zone and the time stamp on my bid clearly shows 11:46pm which is before 11:59pm deadline.

I have just gotten off a chat with a friend who live in Brisbane and she has confirmed that is it indeed now 2:05, so unless something very wacky is going on, I do believe you have made an error.

We need to get this resolved since the author already believes I am the winner of the auction.

Ah ha! I see the problem. The cut off for the auction was 11.59pm Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time...

REMEMBER: CLOSING DATE FOR BIDS = 11.59PM (AusEDST), Sunday 23rd January.

Queensland/Brisbane time is NOT Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time as they do not participate in daylight savings... Therefore they are an hour 'behind' the rest of the eastern seaboard of Australia. Your bid was definitely after the cut-off sorry.
