Just reread this, and loved the ending. I think it worked perfectly. I also really like how much back story you put into this for Reed, and with so few words. It's like she had this trajectory for her life and it was staring to pick up speed and then... it's just cut off so abruptly, which captures exactly what happened so perfectly. Awesome fic. Thank you for sharing this.
