On phone (major power cut here), so this will not be the comment this deserves . . . But awesome! Evil little Reed (Oops . . . hee!); and Alex was so messed up and heartbreaking and so perfectly written. Great chapter.

Thank you! Power cut... that doesn't sound like fun! It's about 28deg cel. here and broad daylight... I'll post some to you!
Glad you liked my continuation, sorry it took so long!

Oh, I love you so much. The Alex/Reed/Izzie was absolutely phenomenal. The Burke was so heartbreaking- I had forgotten about George too. It was just that bitter moment but it worked so well. Beautiful job dear. :)

Thank you!

I know... everyone forgets about poor old George. And I did wanna pay a little homage to their friendship, because it was unlikely and funny and awesome!

Glad you liked it!

must just float around in his brain or something.

That is the single most awesome sentence in a reivew I have ever recieved! Haha! Thank you!!!

Man, dunno about his brain, but there sure are parts of Alex Karev that I would like to float around in! (But, I'll take his brain if that's the only part on offer!)

Have you seen the ep. yet? GAH! WTF, ALEX???!!! I won't say any more in case you haven't...

He's staring at her, as though daring her to speak, as though he can't quite bring himself to initiate a conversation that he doesn't already have a guaranteed ending to.

She understands his hesitation because she feels exactly the same way.

The way you write Alex and Izzie is so heartbreaking. I hate that they're both so lost right now and I have this feeling that if they could just sit down and talk without snapping at each other they might have a chance but, of course, they're both too stubborn.

Also, I love the shout out to Preston's friendship with George and just the idea of a toast to George's memory in general. That was a lovely little scene.

Yeah, his friendship with George was probably the thing I liked most about Preston!!! George redeemed him a little for me...

To me, that SO aptly describes tonight's episode... :(

There have always been gaps between his fingers. People tend to slide right on through

JDNCSKDJM DSKJN . IDEK WHAT TO SAY. EPIC. WIN.

In fact that entire last Alex section is EPIC WIN. Right now though, as the bottle of tequila strikes his front teeth with a dull echo that reverberates through to his toes, Alex doesn't particularly like anyone. YES. THIS!

Obviously evil Reed is awesome but something I absolutely adored was you bring up George for Burke. Like really? Tht was just icing on a really good cake.

Ooh! I have more! She wants to grab each syllable and shovel it deep back down in her throat, they're not what she planned to say, hell, she's not even sure that they're true. I could relate to this so well, I don't relate to Izzie a lot of the time but when she's pissed off and having a go at someone I'm always like; 'Hey that's me!! A totally unreasonable bitch!' You nailed that 'foot and mouth' guilt perfectly.

Fucking. Awesome.

Oooh, so glad you liked! Especially the George thing, because that kinda came outta no where. But, George was his 'guy' for a while there so, seemed reasonable to expect that if Preston came back he'd spare a thought for George.

Glad you could relate to Izzie... that must make her seem real and believable which is awesome so, YAY!

Thanks for the awesome review! Hope your holiday is still progressing brilliantly. I am so beyond jealous that I don't even have words...

Cheer extra loud for Lleyton tonight...!
