Oh, these are amazing, they go together so well. So sorrowful and evocative, and all the little details really speak to the characters and their longing and despair. Especially the cigarette and the drums and the corrected heart anatomy homework.

This is beautiful. Thank you, thank you so much. I love how clearly each of them is this unformed by fully identifiable version of their future self in this. And I love how, in spite of how different their experiences and personalities are, there's that common thread of adversity and their strength and perseverance woven throughout this whole piece that shows one of the reasons they work so well together when they finally do come together.
