That it's typically wrapped in seaweed (seaweed?) is not necessarily a factor. Sushi, it seems to him, is for the cool kids. The cool kids with their i-phones and their briefcases and their tailored suits.
Alex is definitely not one of the cool kids and so he refuses to eat sushi on principle.

He's flying back from a neo-natal conference in Tokyo when he accidently (on purpose) crosses paths with the guest speaker he flew half way across the world, and then some, to see. When she invites him to join her for lunch at one of the airports numerous sushi bars, he agrees in a heartbeat.
He tells himself principles don't count when you're in a different zip code.

Addison has cut her hair, it's shorter and it looks a little darker than Alex remembers, but when their flight boards without them and they're wrapped in sweaty cotton sheets in a dimly lit Narita Airport hotel room, he realises that, despite all this, it still smells exactly the same ( ... )

I loved this so much!
I can totally understand Alex ignoring his principles to have lunch with Addison.
Really liked this line -
"She trails off, fleetingly sad and Alex hates that he's doing this to her, but he figures she's doing it right back at him and he's just as screwed in the head as she is so... why the hell not?"

On the basis of that, I'm thinking Reed is too obvious. BUT, it's the episode right after the crossovers (apparently) so... do you think maybe it could be Addison??????

From a purely selfish point of view that would be great :) Because those two are hot together!
But from a character development point of view, I would like Addison to stop cheating!
But then again, hasn't Izzie left Alex and filed for divorce (I hear bits and pieces)? So is that technically cheating?
Also I want her and Sloan to hook up - but if he's with Lexie still I guess that also constitutes cheating.
Oh, the possibilities!!!!
More shocking - Meredith or Christina. Or Callie????
