So, my attempt at a post-episode-three reaction entry kinda got lost in the haze of ALL TEH CARY/KALINDA and so here is take two! BECAUSE 'DEAR GOD' DESERVES A TAKE TWO... And, firstly, can we please just acknowledge the guest stars they managed to whip out for this episode? I mean, even this guy showed up...!

HOW COULD YOU USE THAT PICTURE? D: It's been years. Still not over that movie lol.

I loved Joy. I love all TGW's guest stars, but something about the way TGW portrays bureaucracy gets to me every time.

DEER IN HEADLIGHTS IS KINDA UNDERSTANDABLE, YES?!

In light of past events, it made total sense for him to have picked up on how overwhelmed and frustrated the two parties in the suit were. It was so great

But, to be clear, I want it in all its fucked up, dysfunctional glory. I'm generally not very nice to my favourite characters. If there is a way to break their hearts then I am typically ALL FOR IT.

. But not for the Cary/Kalinda sex scene and related cuddling/hand kissing. I THINK THIS IS IMPORTANT. At least, IT IS IMPORTANT TO ME. Those flashbacks were Cary's POV. They were his understanding of what happened. They were not Kalinda's. And there is every chance that, had we got a Kalinda flashback (WHICH I KINDA WISH THAT WE HAD!!!), we might have seen something a little different. Or got a different mood. Maybe not something ( ... )

In light of past events, it made total sense for him to have picked up on how overwhelmed and frustrated the two parties in the suit were. It was so great. IT SO WAS! Such a perfect way to tie everything together. Not just factually, or morally, but emotionally, too.

I don't think they'll give any more flashbacks regarding that, but I really hope they do. For science. :( THIS!! Haha! That whole thing was SO FREAKING FASCINATNG TO ME. And I find it really interesting that, of the one gazillion (approximately!) post-ep reviews I've read, NONE OF THEM HAVE COMMENTED ON THIS!!! They talk about the Alicia/Cary/Diane dynamic, but not the Cary/Kalinda one. I'm sure we're not the only ones to have noticed, but hardly anyone seems to have gleaned its significance.

HOWWWW???!!!! HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT SEEEEEEEE??!!!

Thank you for understanding! Haha!

I cannot get over that we were discussing how they would get Alicia to run for SA, AND THEY DID IT ALMOST WORD FOR WORD! I HAD THE MOST RIDICULOUS GRIN ON MY FACE WHEN I WAS WATCHING THE CASTRO/ ( ... )
