This is kind of actually REALLY FUCKING BLEAK friend. The apathy. The sadness. WHATEVER, WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO MY FEELS ALL THE TIME?! But really, I think that we've probably all kind of been there which is why pieces like this have an emotional pull. I really REALLY like this. In case that wasn't clear.

There's so much apathy here. I would almost say that the girl is clinically depressed and wants adventure, but doesn't know how to climb out of the hole she dug herself in.

I hope she gets to feel excited about something, some day.

She works so hard at not caring that she isn't living her life, just avoiding it. Very sad. I enjoyed the story, it was a good character study.

Thank you! Yeah, avoidance and anxiety were definitely the 'themes' I was working with this week. After all, it's not only other people we can 'sweep the leg' out from underneath.
