I should have known better than to read this whilst feeling under the weather. I am now going to get started on the brandy. Which I suspect will help with both the sickness and the gut punching.

In some really odd way I actually would love this to happen. There. I said it. You win.

I love the counting. It's creepy and awesome and such a great way to show how hard Paige is having to work to keep from falling apart. I love the whole thing. Hard. I have decided that whilst things going swimmingly is nice for real life, it's not until everything turns to shit that fiction gets really great. And this is really great.

I am glad that I mustered the energy to turn on my laptop.
