Having also been lucky enough to go to the Guggenheim in NY (and the one in Bilbao), imo, they really don't compare and MONA is my faaaaavourite :) It's far more interactive than either of those were, and with a much, much wider range of exhibits. I was actually really disappointed with the NY Guggenheim.
If you ever find yourself alllllll the way down here, you should definitely come check it out.
