I was pretty chuffed with that particular piece of research cause it was really pissing me off! Definitely too late for the CV this year, but you never know when things might become useful!

I watched Roswell. I thought the secondary people were better actors than the main people. Like, Maria and the other alien and Katherine Heigl's character were much better than Max and the main brunette (Liz?)

I thought the secondary people were better actors than the main people. SO MUCH THIS. I agree 100000%. Max/Jason drives me crazy (and I've been warned it gets worse in season two!), and while I don't mind Liz, I do definitely agree that Michael/Maria/Isabel/Alex are the standouts for me by a long way.

IA, I thought that Jason was an awful actor, everything he said as Max came across in such a dull and flat monotone. Maria was the stand-out for me in the first season

Okay, in my defence, I would like to point out that I had completely forgotten that Baby Hanks's character was called Alex. I would probably have mentioned it if I'd remembered. Probably.

And I KNOWWWW re. how young they all look!! Are they supposed to be the same age as Elena et al at the start of TVD? I can never keep up with the names for the different years of school in the USA so I have no idea but... heeee. SO YOUNG.

It probably doesn't help that I've seen pretty much all of the main players in different things as adults, which really only serves to underline the fact that they were all babies in this show!

Are they supposed to be the same age as Elena et al at the start of TVD? I can never keep up with the names for the different years of school in the USA so I have no idea but... heeee. SO YOUNG.

They were sophomores and supposed to be 15/16 years old at the beginning of the series, although the actors were all in their early 20's in reality. Well except for the actress playing Maria who really was 17 and had trouble getting cast because of that, and I think Jason (Max) was in his late 20's actually lol. I know he was significantly older than the rest of the cast anyway

Well except for the actress playing Maria who really was 17 and had trouble getting cast because of that, WOW! I am SO glad it ended up happening because she is fabulous!! If I could get past my utter devotion to KH, I'd probably have to admit she's my favourite character!!
