Haha, there were!!! There were 13 episodes in season one (which is the one that ended with Richmond getting shot etc) and then another 13 in season two (which were equally fabulous and culimated in the actual most perfect season finale of all time everrrr).

UGH. Yes. As I said earlier. So frustrating. It's so impossible to fathom that they legit watched the same show I watched and didn't have at least some of the same feels as me, right? (Says the girl who is notorious for unpopular opinions.) OKAY It's not unheard of... but THIS? This is just ridiculous.

TBH, I'm also notorious for unpopular opinions, but there are people on my flist who saw what we did (ie. catteo, watercolorblue, rorylie etc) and typically have popular opinions so... IT CAN'T BE JUST US, OKAY?! There was ~something, to quote you, masterful about The Killing, and the people who failed to see that were looking in ALL THE WRONG PLACES.
