I'm actually really keen to write an A/I follow up to this where Izzie accepts Mark's offer and comes back to Seattle Grace. I WANT TO WRITE THIS SO BAD. It will probably happen, tbh. But I have no idea when which is why I'm not promising anything!! Haha!

I feel we are a dying breed as well! Although Grey's has never been my main fandom, I have fierce love for the show and various OTPs, mostly A/I. I hope that one day Shonda and KH get their shit figured out so that they can wrap things up nicely.

So many years and so much is still the same, just like you said. But also, so much has changed... I know that sentiment kinda seems like an oxymoron, but I truly believe it to be the truth in this instance. The bond that A/C/M has forged would be hard for Izzie to break back into I think. Maybe even impossible. But there would be so much individual A/I, M/I, C/I stuff that would still be so raw.

OH, GOD. I want it to be real so freaking badly. For her to come back and for all this stuff to be examined. STORY TELLING GOLDMINE. Alas... :(
