I had to picspam an entire season of Grey's Anatomy for a challenge comm. I've never really picspammed anything before and I'm kinda pleased with how this came out so I thought I'd post it here too. Season 2 is my angst jam! It is the season for emo hair and stupid boy penises and Dirty Uncle Sal and GUH. My faves here are Izzie's lone tear, McSteamy's busted cheek and Mere's bomb face. Well done!

The woe faces are the best faces. I have to make dinner and sort out some fandom pimping but then I will be back to tell you all of the things!

I love the Izzie cap in the bottom row - oh so preeeeeety! Also George/negative space OTP and Derek's back.

I'm not sure why they're not posting sharper. I have never had this problem. Usually they look just the same. Also I think you're using not photoshop. Or are you using PS? I don't think I count as a graphics queen because clearly I suck. OMG!I AM GOING NOW. I WILL BE BAAAAACCK THOUGH!

The Izzie cap in the bottom row is my favourite too! I was really pleased with how that turned out because I did actually have to use my (limited) skillz for that one! I created a soft pinkish layer that I screened over the top of the original image then played around with the contrast. I AM LEARNING!

I used gimp. But another lj friend just gave me a link to a downloadable version of PS (cs5), so perhaps I should switch up to that?

I have no idea why the quality is crap either. I first uploaded straight from my computer to LJ and that was even worse. For this I uploaded first to photobucket, then linked to there for this image. Which made it a bit better but still not as clear as the one I have saved. POO BUM.

Also, negative space is my favourite thing. I should have just had that as my theme. Actually, this was so much fun that I'll probably do more of them. They're a good excuse for playing around with PS.

You are INDEED learning. I am very proud. It looks awesome.

Most of the people that I know do use PS but it can be pretty complicated to start with. But it's the thing that I'm familiar with and I have a ton of tutorials to point you to if needed.

That is SO odd. I wonder if gimp is saving it to some different resolution. Does it give you options for the size you want to save it etc? I always create my caps as 300x150 pixels and then paste them onto a bigger canvas. I don't know if that would make a difference for you.

Negative space is the next one then yes?!

Yeah, that's what I did. I created them as 300x200 (but close enough) then pasted them onto a bigger canvas... I HAVE NO CLUE. I don't mind gimp. I'm getting used to how it all works. Though, I believe it's fairly similar to PS as the tutorials are interchangeable for the most part.

Negative space could well be the next one. I really want to play with Breaking Bad caps because it has THE BEST cinematography. But I fear I might butcher it so I might have to start with something less stunning! (On the other hand, I might not have to work so hard to make it look awesome!)

SEASON TWO WAS MY FAVOURITE. I stopped watching a little after season four--but I guess if I had to choose I would have stopped directly at the season 2 finale. I want grey's anatomy in my mind to be associated with the perfection that was season 2 forever.

I miss all their little dark and twisty Justice League moments.

I've seen ALL the seasons and number two still wins HANDS DOWN. SO MUCH LOVE.

I just want to pretend season two went on forever... the show makes me v. sad and nostalgic these days :(
