Looks very creepy before it is finished!

That was my exact thought when I saw it LOL But the end result is amazing!

BACKSEAT 'ARTISTS' ARE THE WORST.
If you're ever painting a landscape outside never, ever make eye contact. Only bad things will happen.

Though in more related news, I like your WIPs! How big is the paper?

You said it girl. Though this country gal learned not to make much eye contact ever now that I'm in the big city.

EDIT: Oops, forgot to answer your question: 9x12

Muah ha ha *evil laugh* I could tell them about the time... never mind. ;)

Portraits are awesome practice for a new medium! Very challenging, too because of all the skintone, which, I don't know about you but for me, skintones are the hardest. Everything else is much easier in comparison.

I really like seeing WIPs of watercolors. Watercolor is such a daunting medium - it helps to see it broken down into more manageable stages.

Watercolor is soooo hard! D:

I think the basic skintone is OK, doing a permanent rose mixed with some ocer or lighter yellow. Shadows? whatt bitch. I still can't figure it out.
