I really like how he looks as if he's not quite sure what to think of the letter. The moments when he was insecure were some of the favourites in that story for me, so I really like this!
And the 'token'!

Yes, the angst he had to endure trying to withstand a long distance relationship (and before the internet!)

If it weren't for Dayquil and Nyquil I'd be more miserable ...ub.
