Good luck with your 'research'...have you read any of the de Sade biographies yet. I've read one, at the moment I'm looking for At Home With The Marquis de Sade. Apparently that's a good one.

Somehow I had the feeling you would approve. I've started to read several of the biographies now. I found that our library at the university actually has a decent collection on Sade. I'm currently reading At Home with the Marquis de Sade and it is really good.

Funnily enough, that was the second section I checked out at the Uni library!...right after their rather extensive collection of GR films. XD

It's good to know that At Home's a good read; that was one of the bio's that Geoffrey mentioned in a Quills interview so I wanted to check that one out next.

Lol, yea it was the first time I actually went into the library was to look at the Marquis section. What was very cool is I got to go to the special collection because they had one of his letter there because only 150 copies were ever published of this letter. So I went into a special room and had to leave all my stuff outside, as they put this little book on a foam rest, and a bunch of different procedures like that it was crazy.

I love this scene, it is hands down my favorite in the whole movie. I'm glad you liked the cap that really means something considering you must have thousands if not millions of pics of Geoffrey.

I told my teacher and she was okay with it, the course I'm in is call Humanities Core so throughout the year they have encouraged all different types of subjects so it would have been hypocritical to say that I couldn't use the Marquis. And I know he was evil, I'm pretty aware of what I'm getting into.
